the lost sport

My softball team is short a few players this year, and I've been asking around to try to get people to play. The response is mostly the same. ("I'm more of a soccer person.") My cousin even said to me: "Baseball isn't really a sport, is it?"

Is the greatest game of all time becoming practically obsolete? What's the world coming to?

You'd find lots of players down here. Softball is bigger though. Hope you find some people.

But it isn't the greatest sport of all time, stroker... hockey is! Followed closely by darts, with curling and pool tied for third.

Hahaha...are you kiddin me?!?! SlimFats...apparently, I havent brainwashed you enough yet...have no fear, its World Cup year ...quite suiting to my propoganda ways. Soccer is the greatest sport of all time. And thats final. Please direct all concerns in this matter to a certain boy who takes 2 parts in Drama class. :P That way, I KNOW I wont have to deal with your baseball concerns...c'mon, dude..just look at the uniforms..thats just all wrong!

In other news, please note that I refrained from any fowl language in the above comment.

Baseball is decent to watch but I prefer basketball or a good game of football.

Oh, man, I feel your pain. Baseball's great, softball is a decent if inferior substitute, and it isn't soccer season or hockey season so drag those folks out onto the diamond! :-)
