St. Patrick's Day

So my friends and I decided that we would go out drinking the night before St. Patrick's Day just for fun. Maybe we were trying to get warmed up for all the drinking that we were going to be doing the next day. I'm still not entirely sure what we were thinking.

We started by having a few coolers and vodka before we left the house. I was definitely feeling it, but still in decent shape. At the pub, they put green food colouring in all our drinks, which made me want to drink even more.

So, the combination of the Smirnoff twisted coolers, tequila shots, and Jolly Rancher shots that I drank while we were there left me in not-such-decent-shape.

When we got back to my friend's house, I think I puked four times before I passed out for the night. I should have eaten something, but felt too gross. Unfortunately, this led to another round of vomiting when I woke up in the morning.

I was way too sick to go out drinking again for the real St. Patrick's Day!!:(

The moral: Warming up is good when it comes to exercise, not drinking.

Amen sister. I think I learned the same lesson. Wish I could put back that amount of booze.

Combinations of different boozes always spells trouble and terrible nausea. LOL

Don't hink of it as you didn't celebrate St. Paddy's Day properly, but you celebrated it earlier than most others. Surely some part of the drinking binge was after midnight (therefore the wee hours of St. Paddy's)?
