swf seeks...

Someone recently told me that I'm not picky enough about people I date. I have decided to compose a list of the many things that impress me, and that I would find entertaining in a partner.

1. Sing the entire Stonecutters song. ("Who controls the British Crown, who keeps the metric system down?")

2. Belch the alphabet without leaving out any letters.

3. Name at least eight characters from the Archie comics.

4. Make a spoon stick to your nose.

5. Eat chocolate without complaining about the calories or fat grams.

6. Turn your eyelids inside out.

If you scored:
1-2: I'm interested!
3-4: Come on over and meet the family!
5-6: Get out the calendar and choose a wedding date!

things that cheer me up

Some things make me feel great during report card time.

Like looking at flowers. (Especially when they're mine!)

And hanging with my cats. (Don't you wish you were this adorable?)

And finally, spending time with my new boyfriend. (Watch out, Angelina! Broker is here!)

post vd post

Well, yesterday was fun, to say the least. My students were completely off the wall, and it didn't help that I was totally overstimulated and hyper for most of the day as well. I received lots of chocolate from my students, which I promptly consumed. (Perhaps the sugar contributed to my craziness...)

In the afternoon, flowers were delivered to my classroom, which caused a great deal of questions to be fired at me from both the students and the staff! (Can I smell them? Who are they from? How many are there? What does the colour mean?) It was sort of like being in an interrogation room, except the officers were kids on a sugar-high, and a bunch of excited-looking women!

Finally, I painted the town red with a round of mini-golf at the Putting Edge and dinner at Subway. (Don't even think about mocking me! I got a hole-in-one and the best turkey sub in the universe!)

Just when I thought the evening couldn't get any better, I noticed that the price of gas was at 76.9!!! I knew waiting till I was on fumes would pay off!!!

It was awesome.

a break

Rather than think about anything too heavy tonight, I've decided to watch Survivor and eat junk food. Now, my only decision is, do I feel like popcorn or chocolate?

decisions, decisions

As the world's worst decision-maker, I have about eight different decisions to make at the moment that will all have a significant impact on my future. It's gotten to the point where I'm almost tempted to just toss a coin in each case so that I can blame fate if things go badly. It may be a cop-out, but at least I won't have to take responsibility for a poor choice.

Stress is not my friend. Neither is the giant zit that I've acquired as a result of all this decision-making.

the light at the end of the tunnel

I couldn't be happier to see January end. Is it me, or is it by far the worst month of the year? I've been crazier than Tom Cruise lately - my moods are all over the place, ranging from "I-love-everything-and-everyone" (very rare) to "I'm-going-to-kill-someone-today-so-stay-the-hell-away-from-me" (almost constant) and all I've wanted to do is eat and sleep.

I'm ready for February. The month of love doesn't sound too bad right about now.
