unfair!

I hate being sick on a weekend. And I just know that even though I'm at death's door right now, I'm going to be 100% better by tomorrow, so I won't be able to justify taking time off of work! What a gyp.

Just one more day to get through. I'm heading to the airport tomorrow night! I have a strange feeling that tomorrow is going to drag on and on, but luckily, it's the busiest day for me this week, so at least I won't get bored. Ever notice that when you're having a really good time, four hours can pass in the blink of an eye, and when you're doing something tedious, it takes four hours to get through one minute?

This morning my cat bit off my nose.
I tried to tell her not to do it,
Instead she went and bit right through it.

The emergency room took so damn long,
They couldn't sew the tip back on.
But in the end though, I don't mind,

After yesterday, a day that can only be described as pure crap, today was like a dream. It's nice to be happy again. Maybe it was just the weather yesterday. Or maybe I caught somebody's bad mood at work(we pass them around like the flu) and I just needed time, bed rest, and all those Tylenol 3's to get rid of it. Whatever - things are good again. Tomorrow is Friday! The weekend is here!

Jay comes home in one week!! Is there any way to make the time go faster now, and then slow it down once he's actually here?

Please send some positive thoughts my way in your spare time. My team is heading into playoffs now, and we need all the help we can get! We played a double header today (in 30 degree heat! I thought it was supposed to cool off in September!) and we managed to tie both games. (I don't mean to brag, but guess who batted in two runs in the final inning to tie up the score of the second game?!! Okay, I mean to brag a little.) Cross your fingers for us!

Well, here I am after a week of school. Not quite a full week, but it's certainly felt like one. The past four days seem to have taken a slight toll on me, but I figure any loss in my youthful looks is going to be made up for in character!

I'm still going to go ahead with my plan for the weekend - Operation: Get Laid. See you at the bar Saturday night. I'll be the one wearing pink!

Oh my god! Gas was at an all-time low tonight at 122.6!! I knew it would pay off to wait until my car was on fumes! Now, what to do with the money I saved...?

I forgot how draining it can be to spend your whole day with a bunch of 10-year-olds. I don't even have the energy to change the channel right now. And Wheel of Fortune really sucks!

Could not sleep this morning. Woke up feeling great, and then realized what day it was. After that, forget about it! Won't be able to relax until 3:15 p.m. today.

Well, here I go. Another year begins...

Oddly enough, I look much better in this pic than I usually do, but that's probably just the excessive amounts of caffeine keeping me extra perky!

why didn't I outgrow this?

I don't get it. Kids are supposed to be the ones who are dreading going back to school, and having the nightmares right now, and worrying about little things that will go wrong, like some horrible person showing up in their class, or something.

So why is all that stuff happening to me?
