based on a true event

Today it's poetry instead of prose,
This morning my cat bit off my nose.
I tried to tell her not to do it,
Instead she went and bit right through it.

The emergency room took so damn long,
They couldn't sew the tip back on.
But in the end though, I don't mind,
A cheaper nose job you'll never find.
