catching up

Wow, it's been awhile since I last posted. Here's the Reader's Digest version of what I've been up to.

School started again, and it turns out I not only love my new school, but also my grade threes! They're so much more fun than I expected, and even though they wear me out by the end of each day, they also keep me laughing, so I can't complain. (Well, not much.)

Softball ended, and even though one of my teams came in dead last, my other two teams did pretty well. (Second last is the first winner, right?)

I've been hanging out in Brampton (the less attractive, less cool brother of Toronto) quite a bit since the summer. It's one of those places that I've always known existed, but never really bothered to check out. Turns out it's not so bad, although maybe it's the person I've been hanging out with that's affecting my opinion.

Dance starts again tonight. I can't wait to pull those tap shoes out of the closet again. No, really!

I loved Steve Irwin and always thought he was invincible. I guess I figured that if all those crocodiles didn't kill him, nothing would.
