I don't get it

This week, I've discovered that I don't understand two things:

1. People. We grow up physically, and yet we still act like little kids. What's our deal?

2. Transformational Geometry. Those grade four students are in trouble!!

Other than that, my thought processes this week have been minimal, as the scorching heat outside has melted my brain.

another season ends

I had to wear a costume for the past two nights that looked almost exactly like this. (I had to draw it, since I refused to post a picture of myself in the real thing!) In case you didn't know this about me, I take tap dance in my spare time, and we had a couple of performances this week. (They went really well!)

I've already got the beginnings of dance withdrawal, though. I may have to do some tapping between innings on the softball diamond.

the season begins...

My team lost both games tonight. That wouldn't be such a big deal, except that we were mercied both games, and lost by at least 15 runs each time. Even that would have been okay if I could say that I at least played well, but that's not true either. Four errors in one inning! Arrrgh!

The good news is that the games were insanely fun, and if there were an award for the amount of beer consumed after each game, we would definitely win it. Go team!

Great Big Concert

Great Big Sea performed at the Living Arts Centre yesterday. Those guys have more energy than a class full of ten-year-olds on sugar! It was impossible to stand still while they were playing, because their music actually gets inside you and makes you dance along with them.

I thought they had replaced Bob, but he just has longer hair now. It's hot.

Oh, and we were sitting near the guy who played Rick on Degrassi: The Next Generation. We tried to get his attention, but he apparently doesn't respond to the name Rick. Go figure!
