the docks

It had everything last night - drinking, dancing, loud music, and some of the coolest costumes ever. I've never done so many shots in a row before - and after having one of the worst hangovers of my life, probably never will again! I ignored the message on the package of teeth I bought (WARNING: DO NOT USE FANGS TO BITE PEOPLE) and went after whomever I wanted. Hey - I figure the most sportsmanlike player for both softball leagues can get away with anything!

Next year I'm bringing a camera.

for the infamous four

To the one who's always been there: You know who you are. You should also know that I'm always here for you.

To the one who continues to hurt me: I can't seem to stay away, so you're going to have to try harder.

To the one who makes me laugh: A world without you would mean a world without the colour yellow.

To the one who continues to haunt me: Stay out of my dreams, please.

being cheap (and not in the way you're thinking!)

I love being a tightwad.

I saved 40 cents while grocery shopping by buying Equality products instead of brand name stuff. It doesn't matter that the brand name items taste a bit better. The sweet taste of saving money more than makes up for it.

Pretty soon I'll be able to do all my shopping with just the money I've saved. 40 cents a week really adds up!! Life is good.

injustice

There's something unfair about this...

You two never have to get up at 6 a.m., you don't have to head off to work every day, and you don't have to deal with grouchy people who hate mornings (other than me)! You have a free place to stay, free food and drink, and all the attention you could possibly want. And all just because you're so cute!

In my next life, I'm coming back as a cat.

a new appreciation for life

I just had a near-death experience. It was truly frightening once I realized what could have happened to me if things had turned out differently. Really makes you want to live life to the fullest and not let a single second go to waste.

In other news, I'm going out drinking and partying this weekend. Wish me no hangovers.

it's not you, it's them

As much as you might like to, you can't change people who are just naturally jerks. I learned that lesson a long time ago.

the best time

Oh my god, I just had the best night ever. I went downtown because there was this big thing going on at Guvernment and Koolhaus, and I spent the night drinking and dancing to house music. It was so much fun, and I only threw up once. (Damn you Smirnoff Ice!! Never again!!) Unfortunately, I haven't been to bed yet, and it's coming up on 6:30 in the morning, so I should probably get some shut eye. Thank god it's thanksgiving Monday, so I don't have to worry about entertaining 24 little monsters in a couple of hours!!

I can still hear the music pounding through me. Or is that the vodka coming up again?....

I would like to thank the following...

Sugar, Glucose, Modified Cornstarch, Modified Potato Starch, Malic Acid, Potassium Citrate, Gelatin, Mineral Oil, Food Grade Petrolatum, Citric Acid, Natural and Artificial Flavour, Colour, and of course, I can't forget you Carnauba Wax!!

Thank you for helping to make me feel better. Who knew when I was so down the other day, that all I needed was to go to Dominion and find all of you together in the form of super sour ju jubes to feel awesome again?! I couldn't have done it without you. Even though your time in my stomach will be limited, know that you'll always have a place in my heart. Peace!

:(

I'm suffering from a case of temporary sadness at the moment, but am hoping to be rid of it within the next few days or so!! Is this something that I can get rid of using some home remedy, like chicken soup? I've heard chocolate tends to cheer people up - does anyone have a Coffee Crisp?

two strokers

So I've spent the greater portion of this week hanging out with my brother. It's been a blast, and I wish that he wasn't leaving in two days. Four people have told him this week that he's like a male version of me. He was not flattered by this - on a side note, those four people are all recovering nicely in the hospital, and should be out in a few days!

Can you see a resemblance? I don't! Maybe it's our personalities that make us similar. We do both have the amazing stroker ability to pound down several alcoholic beverages without throwing up. (Well, I have that ability nine-tenths of the time!)

I missed him when I hadn't seen him in over a year, but now that I've had the chance to spend time with him again, I'm going to miss him even more.

Crazy!
